Debut release from Twin City Records

Scottish four-piece Middleton Hall will release their self-titled debut EP through new independent record label Twin City Records later this month.

The Dunfermline band re-kindled their musical relationship in 2010 and have since been busy rehearsing, recording, and playing live, including a support slot with Glasgow band French Wives. Their debut EP was recorded at The Loft and mastered by Alex Fenton & William MacConnachie at Swanfield Studios.

The EP has Middleton Hall’s Americana/Folk/Indie Pop stamp all over it. As one reviewer said of the band,

“Reminiscent of those ‘too cool’ American indie pop bands that I fall effortlessly in love with; it’s hard to believe that Middleton Hall hail from Dunfermline.”

Steve Haddow (Guitar & Vocals), Simon Ellen (Guitar & Vocals), Dougie Shanley (Bass & Vocals) and Gordon Helm (Drums) released their debut single ‘First Bus Out of Town’ in 2012 to great reviews and radio airplay, including Jim Gellatly’s Amazing Radio show.
